Seventeen Annas gathered at the Hinton Retreat Center in Hayesville, NC in early August to take a spiritual walk with Howard Thurman. We were led by the inspiring Dr. Lerita Coleman Brown who wrote our book for the journey, What Makes You Come Alive. Thurman’s mystical spirituality and opens us to spiritual reflection and practices to find what it means to us to be children of God. Thurman calls us to center down, encounter the natural world, unleash our inner authenticity and authority and, as individuals and as a group, to take our spiritual journeys!
