On Sunday, June 18th Annas gathered at the Church of the Epiphany to see off our precious Anna Ruth to Connecticut to live with her sister, Sylvia. We are an Episcopal religious community with sisters close and some at a distance. Anna Ruth joins our distant sisters with our continuing embrace, daily prayers and regular outreach.
The Annas in attendance celebrated Anna Ruth’s ministry and her vital, important role in the formation and establishment of the SSAP. We honored her faithful and continued support of our ministries through the years. Rev. Amy Dills-Moore related Anna Ruth’s ministry beginning with her ordination to the diaconate in 1991, and to the priesthood on January 1, 1992.
Photos are from the service, and the following reception. We will miss Anna Ruth, and wish her traveling mercies and a gentle landing in her new home. She will continue to be in our prayers as we know that we will be in hers.
It’s who we are!
